As herein used, "Township" shall mean the Township of Salisbury, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.

As herein used, the term "alcoholic beverage" shall mean any liquid intended for human consumption containing more than 1/2 of 1% of alcohol by volume. Beer, wine, and all types of liquor, including but not limited to rye, bourbon, scotch whiskies, and rum, gin, vodka and other liquors, shall be rebuttably presumed to be alcoholic beverages containing more than 1/2 of 1% alcohol by volume.

From and after the date of this Part 2, no person shall drink or consume an alcoholic beverage, or possess with the intent to drink or consume an open container containing an alcoholic beverage, in, on, or at any public park, playground, school property, public street, or sidewalk in the Township of Salisbury. Possession of an open container containing an alcoholic beverage by any person shall create a rebuttable presumption that such person did intend to consume the contents thereof in violation of this § 6-203.

Any person who violates any provision or prohibition of this Part 2 shall be guilty of a summary offense and, upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not more $300, together with costs of prosecution, and in default of payment thereof to undergo imprisonment for not more than 90 days.
