a. No person shall conduct, operate or maintain any food or drink, manufacturing,
processing or distributing establishment or vehicle without obtaining
a license therefor from the Board for each and every such food establishment.
The fee for every such license shall be $1 and shall expire on the
30th day of June next succeeding the date of issue. This license,
when for premises, shall be displayed in a conspicuous manner plainly
visible to patrons and, when for vehicles, shall be displayed on one
side thereof, plainly visible to patrons.
b. The Board of Health or its agents may require a physical examination
by a duly licensed physician of any operator or person employed in
any food establishment in the Borough. A Certificate of such examination
shall be filed with the Board within such time as the Board may decide.
No person shall operate or employ in any food establishment any person
required to obtain a food handlers permit who has not obtained such
permit as herein provided.
c. No person shall sell or expose for sale any meat or vegetable for
use as food which is unwholesome of contaminated.
d. No person shall distribute or sell, or manufacture for distribution
or sale, or manufacture for distribution or sale, or have in his possession
with intent to distribute or sell any food or drink for human consumption
which has been exposed to any communicable disease, or which contains
or has been exposed to any injurious contamination, or which is unfit,
unwholesome, impure, decayed, mislabeled, diseased or adulterated.
e. That in food and drink establishments all utensils intended for a
second use shall be thoroughly cleansed and sanitized by washing and
rinsing in a double compartment fixture and immersed in water of 180°
F. for a minimum period of three minutes or by such other method which
shall yield the same result. In all establishments that cannot provide
approved facilities for the proper washing and sanitizing of eating
and drinking utensils, the patrons shall be provided with individual
paper service.

Code §§ 12, 13, 14, 15]
a. License required; fee. No person shall engage, either as principal
or agent, in the distribution or sale of milk or cream in the Borough
without obtaining a license from the Board.
The license fee for each distributor engaged in the distribution
or sale of milk or cream, and for each place from where milk or cream
is distributed or sold shall be $2 which shall be paid by the person
engaged in the distribution or sale of milk or cream. Every such license
shall expire on the 30th day of June next succeeding the date of issue,
unless sooner revoked.
b. Display of license. All persons having a license to sell or distribute
milk or cream in the Borough granted by the Board shall at all times
display it in a conspicuous place on the premises where the milk or
cream is kept for sale or delivery.
c. Application for license. Any person applying for a license to sell
or distribute milk or cream within the limits of the Borough shall
set forth in the application that the source of the applicant's
supply has been approved by the New Jersey State Department of Health.
d. Pasteurization or certification. All milk or cream sold in the Borough
shall be pasteurized or certified.

Code § 16]
All street vendors of ice cream or ice cream products shall
before selling or distributing the same in the Borough obtain from
the Board a license to permit such sale and distribution. The fee
for each such license shall be $1 which shall be paid by each such
street vendor. Each such license shall expire on the 30th day of June
next succeeding the date of issue unless sooner revoked.

Code §§ 10, 11]
a. No person shall slaughter, kill or dress any cattle or poultry in
the Borough, except in an approved slaughter house. No slaughter house
or any other place where cattle or poultry are slaughtered, killed
or dressed, shall be maintained or conducted within the Borough without
obtaining a permit for that purpose from the Board.
Said permit to slaughter, kill or dress cattle or poultry or
to maintain or conduct a slaughter house, may be granted by the Board
upon payment of $5 for such permit, which permit shall expire on the
30th day of June next following the date of issuance, provided however,
that the provisions of this section shall not apply to any person
who kills cattle or poultry for personal domestic use.
b. Before a permit is issued to the operators of any slaughter house
in the Borough, the operator shall file with the Board plans for the
construction which have been approved by the Construction Official
and shall meet the minimum requirements pertaining to light, ventilation,
plumbing and drainage which may be specified by the Board.
