The Board of Supervisors of the Township of Warrington, finding
excessive animals are detrimental to the physical, mental, and social
well-being of the people as well as to their public health and welfare,
hereby declares that it is necessary to limit the number of domestic
animals within the Township to protect the quality of life of its
residents.
It shall be illegal within the Township of Warrington for any
person or persons to own, possess, harbor, or control more than three
each of dogs or cats on any property.

Any person, firm, or corporation who shall violate any provision of this article, upon conviction thereof in an action brought before a Magisterial District Judge in the manner provided for the enforcement of summary offenses under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $1,000 plus costs and, in default of payment of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 90 days. Each day that a violation of this article continues or each section of this article which shall have been found to have been violated shall constitute a separate offense.
