It shall be unlawful for any person to encumber a public sidewalk
of the Village of Canajoharie with goods, wares or merchandise on
display or to place or deposit boxes, ashes, leaves or other rubbish
on any public sidewalk in said Village except for the purpose of removal.
It shall be unlawful for any person to place or deposit boxes,
ashes, leaves or other rubbish in or upon any street, alley or public
place of the Village of Canajoharie.

A.
In conformity with regulations duly adopted by the Village Board
and published by the Village Clerk from time to time, garbage, bulk
items and recyclables from business or dwelling premises located within
the Village of Canajoharie shall be placed inside the street curb,
if a curb exists, in front of such premises, or adjacent to but not
on the street, pavement in front of such premises, if there is no
curb, without obstructing the free and proper use of any public sidewalk.
B.
No person shall place any garbage, bulk items or recyclables at or
near any curb, sidewalk or street pavement other than the curb, sidewalk
or street pavement immediately in front of the premises from which
such garbage, bulk items or recyclables were generated.
C.
The placement of household garbage in trash receptacles provided
by the Village in the downtown area of the Village or in any Village
park area shall constitute a violation of this chapter.
D.
The placement of any garbage, bulk items or recyclables at or near
any curb, sidewalk or street pavement in any manner not in compliance
with any provision of such regulations or of this section shall constitutes
violation of this chapter.
