Smoking is prohibited and no person shall smoke:
A.
Inside any building, facility, or vehicle owned, operated or maintained
by the City of Auburn;
B.
Within 50 feet of the entrances, exits, or outdoor areas of any building
or facility owned, operated or maintained by the City of Auburn; or
C.
Within and 50 feet from the property lines of all parks and playgrounds
owned by the City of Auburn.
Smoking may be permitted designated areas located more than
50 feet from entrances, exits or outdoor areas of any building or
facility owned, operated or maintained by the City of Auburn.
Where smoking is regulated or prohibited by this chapter, the
City of Auburn shall prominently post and properly maintain "Smoking"
or "No Smoking" signs or the international "No Smoking" symbol, which
consists of a pictorial representations of a burning cigarette enclosed
in a circle with a bar across it.
