The Board of Aldermen hereby establish the office of Deputy
City Clerk, whom shall be vested with all of the powers and authority
as the City Clerk. The Deputy City Clerk shall perform any function
of the City Clerk in the absence of the City Clerk and/or as directed
by the Board of Aldermen. The office shall have the same term as the
City Clerk, which will be July 1 through June 30 of each fiscal year.
