The Borough Council authorizes, approves and sets the compensation
for the term of office of its elected Tax Collector commencing January
1, 2018, at $8,000 per year, or 5% of all taxes collected, whichever
amount is less.

The compensation shall be paid to the Tax Collector as follows:
$4,000 by April 1, $2,000 by July 1 and $2,000 by December 1 of each
year.

This compensation rate for the Tax Collector of the Borough
shall remain in effect until modified in accordance with the Local
Tax Collection Law, 1945, May 25, P.L. 1050 at § 36.1 (72
P.S. § 5511.36a).
Any prior resolution, ordinance or action of the Borough Council
conflicting with the provisions of this Part are hereby repealed to
the extent of such conflict.
