Every driver of a vehicle approaching the intersection on the first-named yield street, in the direction indicated in each case, shall slow down or stop the vehicle as required by Section 3323(c) of the Vehicle Code,[1] and then yield the right-of-way as required by that subsection of the Vehicle Code.

It shall be unlawful for any person to ride on a sled upon any sidewalk in the Borough of Watsontown, or upon any roadway unless that roadway is a portion of a street blocked off for sledding by authority of § 15-105 of Part 1 of this chapter. Provided: nothing in this subsection shall prevent a pedestrian from pulling a sled, with or without a rider, upon a sidewalk.
2. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in roller-skating or to ride upon or propel any coaster or any other toy vehicle upon:

A. 
Any street or alley except:
(1) 
In order to cross such roadway; and
(2) 
Bicycles being operated in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations; and
(3) 
Skateboards or roller blades in alleys only; or
B. 
Any sidewalk located in a business district, except that nothing in this subsection shall prevent a pedestrian from pulling a coaster or other toy vehicle, with or without a rider, upon a sidewalk; or
C. 
On any Borough-owned property unless said use is expressly permitted by the Borough.
3. 
Any person who violates any provision of this section shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $10 and costs or confiscation of the vehicle as follows:
A. 
First offense for a period of two weeks. Second offense for a period of four weeks. Third offense for a period of indefinitely.

No motor vehicle or motorcycle or minibike shall be operated on any lands owned by the Borough of Watsontown or any other public body within the Borough, except on those lands specifically designated for the operation of motor vehicles, motorcycles or minibikes by resolution of the Borough Council. Any person who violates any provision of this section shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $25 and costs.

1. 
Engine Brakes Prohibited. No gasoline-powered or diesel-powered motor vehicle shall be operated on the streets, roads, alleys or highways listed below within the Borough of Watsontown, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, utilizing, in said operation, an engine brake, engine-suppression device or compression brake permitting or causing excessive noise to be created by said motor vehicle.
2. 
Designated Streets. All streets within the Borough limits shall be subject to this prohibition.
3. 
Emergency Situations. This section shall not apply to emergency vehicles being operated in an emergency mode or emergency driving situations requiring the utilization of an engine brake to protect the safety and property of the residents of Watsontown Borough, other motor vehicle operators, pedestrians, and the operator and passengers of the motor vehicle involved in said emergency situation.
4. 
Violations and Penalties. Any person, firm, corporation or organization violating any of the provisions of this section shall, upon summary conviction before a Magisterial District Judge having jurisdiction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $50 or more than $300 and costs of prosecution, and, in default of the payment thereof, shall be sentenced to undergo imprisonment in the Northumberland County Prison for a period not to exceed 10 days.
