After all of the information required has been submitted by an applicant
for a Council-issued license and after the necessary investigations
have been made, the Town Manager shall place the application on the
agenda for the Town Council and shall submit a report to the Town
Council recommending approval or disapproval and the reasons for such
recommendation.
If taxes are unpaid or there is any violation of the zoning or building
ordinances, these matters shall be noted in the report. The Town Manager
shall not recommend the issuance of a license or permit until receipt
of written confirmation from the Tax Collector that the applicant
is not delinquent in the payment of real or personal property taxes,
and from the Building Official that the operation of such business
will conform to the zoning and building ordinances.
