Editor's Note: This ordinance repealed original § 1-501,
Commission Created; § 1-502, Commission Membership; § 1-503,
Meetings; § 1-504, Powers; § 1-505, Records; and
§ 1-506, Annual Report, adopted 10-17-1989 by Ord. No. 252-A,
of the 2010 Code of Ordinances, due to the regionalizing of police
services.
The civil service rules and regulations relative to police shall
be governed by the intergovernmental cooperation agreement establishing
a Regional Police Department between the Borough of Chalfont, the
Borough of New Britain, and Doylestown Borough, and any amendment
thereto. All police personnel decisions and/or police civil service
matters are hereby delegated to the Central Bucks Regional Police
Commission.
