No person shall install, within the Borough of Chalfont, a solid-fuel-burning stove, furnace, boiler or appliance nor construct a chimney nor install a factory-built chimney unless such installation and construction is accomplished strictly in accordance with rules and regulations as provided in this chapter.

Installation and construction of solid-fuel-burning stoves, furnaces, boilers and appliances and the construction of chimneys and the installation of factory-built chimneys shall conform to 25 Pa. Code § 123.14.
No person shall install a solid-fuel-burning stove, furnace, boiler or appliance nor construct a chimney nor install a factory-built chimney unless a permit is first obtained from the Building Official of the Borough, the fee for which shall be established by resolution of Council from time to time.
A. 
Upon receipt of an application for a permit and prior to the issuance thereof, the Building Official shall inspect the premises and the proposed installation and/or construction for compliance with Chapter 180, Construction Codes, Uniform, and the rules and regulations adopted herein. Full compliance shall be a prerequisite of the issuance of the permit.
B. 
A final compliance inspection shall be required by the Building Official prior to placing the installation in operation. Upon determining compliance and approval, the Building Official shall endorse the permit as of the date of final inspection, whereupon the installation may then be placed in operation.

Any person who violates the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to a fine of not more than $1,000, plus costs, and, in default of payment of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 30 days. Each day that a violation of this chapter continues or each section of this chapter which shall be found to have been violated shall constitute a separate offense.
