Pursuant to Section 10(4)(a) of the Municipal Home Rule Law,
the Code Enforcement Officer of the Village of Lancaster and Assistant
to the Code Enforcement Officer of the Village of Lancaster are hereby
authorized to issue and serve appearance tickets for violations of
New York State and Village of Lancaster parking laws and regulations
within the Village of Lancaster.
Each appearance ticket issued pursuant to this article shall indicate the date of issuance of the appearance ticket, the title and name of the issuing person, the date, hour and location of the violation and the license plate number of the vehicle. The appearance ticket shall also indicate the specific section of the Village Code or the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law of the violation charged and direct the owner or operator to within 30 days pay to the Court Clerk at the Village of Lancaster Traffic Violations Bureau the fine established by § 325-48 of this chapter or apply to the Court Clerk at the Village of Lancaster Traffic Violations Bureau for a trial before the Village Justice, the date and time of which to be set by the Court Clerk.
