A. 
It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to ride, drive, wheel, push or in any manner propel or permit to remain on the sidewalks of the Town of North Brentwood, any wheelbarrow, handcart, bicycle, sled or sleigh, or any other such article in such a manner so as to impede pedestrian traffic.
B. 
It shall be unlawful for any storekeeper or other person to encumber, obstruct or in any manner interfere with the free and uninterrupted use of the public streets and sidewalks of the Town of North Brentwood leaving any goods, wares, merchandise or other articles or thing thereon, or by the use of a commercial lift, except for loading or during the erection or repair of a building.
C. 
It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to throw, deposit, or allow to be deposited upon any street, gutter, walkways, Town property or play area, any leaves, grass clippings, yard waste, tree trimmings, branches, glass bottles, glass, plastic bottles, nails, wire, cans, dirt, building materials, pollutants, tires, furniture, appliances, motor vehicle parts or any other type of debris.
D. 
The owner or person or persons responsible for any real property shall remove and properly dispose of litter and debris. Improper disposal of litter and debris that results in litter or debris flowing or otherwise being carried into the storm drainage system shall be punishable as stated herein.

It shall be unlawful for any owner or occupant to allow snow or ice to remain on the sidewalk or pavement abutting his property for more that 24 hours after snow or ice conditions have ceased.

A violation of this article shall be a municipal infraction with a fine of $100 for each offense.
