Chapter 45, Finance and Taxation, § 45-5, Assessment letters. The fee for each parcel researched shall be $25 for general assessments and an additional $25 for Utility District assessments. The above charges shall apply to routine requests requiring a turnaround time of no less than 24 hours. An additional fee of $5 per letter shall be charged for same-day service or letters sent by fax.
B. 
Chapter 186, Animals, § 186-7D, impoundment and kennel fees:
(1) 
Minimum impoundment fee: $50.
(2) 
Kennel fee: $10 per day per dog for each day of impoundment.

Section 330-31, Boat launch fees. The price of the annual launch fee sticker shall be $20 for Village residents, employees and owners of real estate within the Village; provided, however, that Village residents 65 years of age and older may obtain a launch fee sticker at no charge. Watercraft must be registered in Wisconsin to qualify for the price of $20 for this sticker. The price of the annual launch fee sticker shall be $30 for nonresidents who do not own property within the Village of Salem Lakes. Daily launch tickets for residents and nonresidents will be available at the Village boat launches or Village Hall for the price of $5 for Village residents and $8 for nonresidents.

B. 
Municipal/school owned. The fee for each permit, inspection and plan review for municipal or school district projects shall be 1/2 of the fee for an equivalent nonmunicipal commercial project.
C. 
Cabaret. The permit for a cabaret facility shall be $150.
D. 
A fee of $25 shall be charged for each installation of a well, septic tank or sewage disposal system inspected and for which a certificate is required to be issued.
E. 
The sum of up to $300 shall be charged if work is commenced prior to the issuance of a permit, in addition to the cost of the permit.
F. 
Renewal.
(1) 
All building permits, except new home permits, shall expire six months after issuance. After six months, if the project is at least 25% completed, the building permit may be renewed at the cost of 1/2 of the original fee ($25 minimum).
(2) 
New home permits shall expire two years after issuance. In the case of a new home permit, if at least 50% of the project is not completed, with the proper inspections obtained, upon expiration of the permit, a renewal may be obtained at the cost of 1/2 of the original cost ($200 minimum).
G. 
Sewer connection. No person shall make or cause to be made any connection to the Village sanitary sewer collection system without first paying to the Village a connection fee of $5,000 per ERU (equivalent residential unit) as determined by the Village. There will be a reconnection fee of $2,500.
