The intent of the City through adoption of the following development
standards is to establish the minimum required standards and specifications
for all public improvements constructed within the City. When public
improvements are required in a subdivision or condominium development
project, no such public improvements may be made until the plans for
the subdivision and also the plans for the public improvements have
been approved by the City Council. The City Engineer is designated
as the enforcing officer of these public improvements standards and
specifications. When public improvements are made other than as part
of a subdivision or condominium development project, no such improvements
may be made until the plans are approved by the City Council and the
City Engineer. If any improvements are being constructed in violation
of regulations contained herein, it shall be the responsibility of
the City Engineer or City Manager to stop such construction until
there is full compliance with the regulations.
