Township of Edgewater Park, NJ Article III Deputy Township Clerk

[Adopted as Title 2, Ch. 2.12, of the 1998 Township Code]

§ 75-13 Office created.

There is created the Office of Deputy Township Clerk for the Township.

§ 75-14 Term of office.

The term of the Office of Deputy Township Clerk shall be the calendar year. Upon the ordinance codified in this article becoming effective, the Township Committee shall appoint a suitable person, in the employ of the Township, for the balance of the present calendar year and annually thereafter.

§ 75-15 Powers and duties.

The Deputy Township Clerk shall have all the powers and perform all the duties of the Township Clerk during such times and for such specific periods as the Township Clerk shall be absent.
