A certain document, one (1) copy of which is on file in the
office of the City Clerk of the City of Clayton, Missouri, being marked
and designated as the Saint Louis County Explosives Code, County Ordinance
18,693, approved on November 12, 1997, and amendments thereto, is
hereby adopted as the Explosives Code of the City of Clayton, Missouri,
for the control and regulation of explosives and explosive materials
as therein provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions,
conditions, and terms of the Saint Louis County Explosives Code are
hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof, as if more fully
set out in this Article, with the additions, insertions, deletions
and changes prescribed in this Article.

The following numbered Sections and Subsections of the Saint Louis County Explosives Code adopted in Section
205.090 are hereby amended by the following additions, insertions, deletions and changes. The Section numbering format of the Saint Louis County Explosives Code is used herein to enhance the understanding of the code by maintaining a consistent format throughout the code. Each Section or Subsection set out below is to be considered as fully a part of the Explosives Code as adopted. The amended Sections and Subsections shall read as follows:
Section 711.390. Penalties.

Any person, firm, corporation, limited liability company or
other business entity who shall violate any provision of this code,
or any owner or tenant of the building or premises or any other person
who commits, takes part or assists in any violation of this code or
maintains any building, structure or premises in which such violation
shall exist shall be guilty of an ordinance violation and subject
to punishment by a fine not to exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000.00)
or imprisonment for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days, or by
both such fine and imprisonment. Each day that a violation continues
shall be deemed a separate offense. This provision shall not apply
to any Section of this code or to any ordinance in which there is
expressly provided a penalty for its violation, or for any offense
where the penalty is fixed by State Statute.
