The County Legislature has determined that the salaries during the term of office of the County Executive, County Sheriff, County Clerk, County Comptroller, or members of the County Legislature, and each year within that term of office, shall be set by resolution of the County Legislature prior to the commencement of said term.

A. 
The salary during each term of office of the County Executive, County Sheriff, County Clerk, County Comptroller, or members of the County Legislature shall be fixed by resolution of the County Legislature prior to the commencement of the term.
B. 
The resolution shall set forth the salary of the County Executive, County Sheriff, County Clerk, County Comptroller, or members of the County Legislature for each and every year of his/her term of office.
Nothing herein contained shall eliminate the necessity to enact the appropriate legislative salary resolutions and complete the appropriate budget procedure relative to the implementation of salaries.

Nothing herein contained shall prohibit a County official from receiving reimbursement for actual and necessary expenses personally incurred by such official in the performance of his/her official duties pursuant to Section 2.05 of the Administrative Code of the County of Dutchess.
