A. 
Purpose. It is the intent of this article and this zoning district to provide for medium- to high-density housing within the areas of the Borough, which are suitable for this purpose.
B. 
Regulations. Within the R-3 Residential District, a building may be erected, altered or used, and a lot or premises may be used when it is in conformance with the conditions of this chapter and the specific use, area and design regulations of this district.
A. 
Uses permitted by right. In an R-3 District, the following uses are permitted by right:
(1) 
Multiple-family dwelling.
(2) 
Single-family semidetached dwelling (twin house).
(3) 
Single-family attached dwelling (townhouse).
(4) 
Two-family detached dwelling (duplex).
(5) 
Single-family detached dwelling.
(6) 
Accessory use, provided that they are customarily incidental and subordinate to the uses permitted by right, condition and special exception.
(7) 
Home occupation, no-impact home-based.
(8) 
Forestry.
B. 
Uses permitted by special exception. In an R-3 District, the following uses are permitted by special exception, and are subject to Article XI of this chapter:
(1) 
Home occupations.
(2) 
Place of worship.
(3) 
School.
