Town of Lawrence, WI Article III Town Obligation to Pay County Taxes

§ 48-7 Taxes required to be paid.

Pursuant to § 70.67(2), Wis. Stats., the Town of Lawrence obligates itself to pay, if the Town of Lawrence Clerk-Treasurer fails to do so, all state and county taxes required by law to be paid by such Clerk-Treasurer to the County Treasurer. A certified copy of this article shall be filed with the Brown County Treasurer's Office and shall remain in effect until a certified copy of its repeal is filed with such County Treasurer.
