There is hereby levied and imposed a per capita tax of $5 upon
each adult person over the age of 21 years and under the age of 65
years living within the limits and boundaries of West Pike Run Township,
Washington County, Pennsylvania.
The Tax Collector or such other person as the Board of Supervisors
shall appoint, shall notify each taxable person of the amount of said
tax at the same time that notice for road taxes are given.
The time for payment, discount for prompt payment and penalties
for non-payment shall be the same as those for the regular road tax.
The provisions of this article are severable, and if any section,
clause, sentence, part or provision or exemption thereof shall be
held illegal, invalid, or unconstitutional, the decision of the court
shall not affect or impair any of the remaining sections, clauses,
sentences, parts, provisions or exemptions of this article. It is
hereby declared to be the intent of the Township of West Pike Run
that this article would have been adopted if such illegal, invalid
or unconstitutional section, clause, sentence, part, provision or
exemption had not been included therein.
