The Board of Review shall consist of the Village President, the Village Clerk-Treasurer and a Trustee of the Village of Merton.
The Board of Review shall have the duties and powers prescribed by § 70.47, Wis. Stats.

The Village Board shall consist of the President and two Trustees elected in the odd-numbered years and two Trustees elected in the even-numbered years for terms of two years.
The Village Board shall hold its first meeting in each year on the 1st Thursday of April, and shall thereafter hold a regular meeting on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month and at such other times as the Board may direct. Except when otherwise ordered by the Board, the place of meeting shall be the Village Hall, and the hour of meeting shall be 7:00 p.m.

Special meetings may, and on written request of two Trustees shall, be called by the President. Public notice of every meeting of a governmental body shall be given at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of such meeting unless for good cause such notice is impossible or impractical, in which case shorter notice may be given, but in no case may the notice be provided less than two hours in advance of the meeting.
B. 
In the event that a special meeting is called at the request of two Trustees on behalf of a petitioner or on behalf of any interested person, a fee in an amount as set from time to time by the Village Board must be on file with the Clerk/Treasurer prior to notification of the other Trustees.
The President shall preside at all meetings of the Board or, in his absence, the senior Trustee shall serve or designate an individual to serve. At the opening of each meeting the roll call shall be called and the result so recorded as to show who are present and who are absent. If less than three be present, no motion except to adjourn shall be in order.
