Candidates for elective office shall be nominated by a nonpartisan primary election conducted as directed by Ch. 8, Wis. Stats., so far as applicable and specifically in accordance with § 8.05(4) and (5), Wis. Stats.
A. 
Nomination papers shall be signed by not fewer than 20 nor more than 100 electors of the Village.
B. 
Papers shall be circulated according to deadlines as set forth in § 8.04(4), Wis. Stats.

C. 
Notice shall be given under §§ 10.01(2)(a) and 10.06(2)(a), Wis. Stats.
D. 
No additional candidates may be nominated by a caucus.
E. 
A primary shall be held only when the number of candidates for an elective office exceeds twice the number to be elected to the office.
F. 
Only the names of those candidates nominated at the primary may appear on the official spring election ballot.
G. 
When the number of candidates for an office does not exceed twice the number to be elected, their names shall be printed on the official ballot for the regular election without a primary.

A. 
Polling hours. The polling hours for elections within the Village of Williams Bay are hereby established as follows: The polls shall open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m.
B. 
Scheduling election officials. Two or more sets of election officials may be selected to work different times on election days, and the Clerk and his/her designee may establish different working hours for different election officials assigned to the same polling place.
Registration of electors shall be required in accordance with Ch. 6, Wis. Stats.
