[Amended at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General
Provisions, Art. II)]
No person shall hold, conduct or manage a public dance, circus,
carnival, street fair, skating rink or other like amusement in the
Village without a written permit issued by the Clerk by authority
of the Village Board. Application for such permit shall be filed with
the Clerk at least three days prior to the date of holding such amusement
and shall be accompanied by a fee as provided in the Village Fee Schedule,

in compliance with law.
No such amusement shall be conducted in the Village unless it
be in the presence and under the direct supervision of the Chief of
Police or other Village officer or other person designated for that
purpose by the President.
No such form of amusement shall be conducted in said Village
between 1:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
Any person who shall violate any provision of this chapter shall be subject to a penalty as provided in §
1-4 of this Code.
