Collection of solid waste, which shall be contained within the designated cart, shall be made once per week for each residential occupant based upon the schedule established and posted by the Public Works Department. In the event the designated collection day falls on a holiday, the collection day will be moved to a different day which shall be designated and posted by the Township as needed.

A. 
Collection of bulk leaves generally will occur during the beginning of April and the months of November and December on a schedule to be posted by the Public Works Department. The Director or Deputy Director of the Public Works Department may adjust the general collection period for bulk leaves for any reason he or she deems necessary, including but not limited to weather conditions. Any changes to the posted collection schedule will be posted by the Township.

Leaves should not be bagged. Residents who live on Route 30 (White Horse Pike) and not having access to any side street or alley may bag the leaves and place them out for collection. Residents in this location shall call the Department of Public Works to schedule a collection time.
C. 
Collection will begin on Monday and continue until the entire route is complete for that week. Leaves should be curbside loose at the beginning of the scheduled collection week. Leaves shall be free from all other yard debris, including sticks, twigs, acorns, and trash. Vehicles in front of or too close to the leaves will not be picked up.

Items such as couches and furniture shall be placed at the curb for pickup during the last full week of the month, and collected on the regular scheduled trash day. The hauler will regularly pick up two small bulk items (twin mattress, small chair, small table).

Bulk trash pickup for oversized/large items will be one time a month during the last full week of the month. (A full week of the month is the last week which includes Monday to Friday of the same month.)
C. 
Construction and/or remodeling material is not bulk trash and is not collected by the Township or hauler.
D. 
Bulk items that will not be collected. The Township will not collect debris such as paneling, insulation, decks, fences, railroad ties, bricks, concrete, roofing, etc. Contractors working for homeowners and/or homeowners are responsible for the removal and disposal of these items.
