All persons, firms or corporations be and they are hereby required
to obtain a permit from the Township Zoning Officer for the construction
of any building or structure in the Township of Robinson or for the
construction of any addition to an existing building or structure.
An application shall be made by the owner or his authorized
agent to the Township Zoning Officer for such permit, which application
shall contain the name and address of the owner contemplating such
construction, as aforesaid, the name of the contractor, if any, to
effect said construction, the location of the property whereon said
construction is proposed to occur, with a brief description of the
contemplated construction or addition, the estimated price thereof,
the time of the commencement of the work and the estimated time of
the completion of the work.
All permits issued pursuant to this chapter must be posted in
a noticeable and obvious manner upon those premises described in the
application for said permit as the premises whereon the construction
was proposed to occur.

Any permit granted in accordance with the provision of this
chapter, shall be invalid unless the work is commenced within a period
of one year.

Any person who violates or permits a violation of this chapter
shall, upon conviction in a summary proceeding brought before a Magisterial
District Judge under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure,
be guilty of a summary offense and shall be punishable by a fine of
not more than $1,000, plus costs of prosecution. In default of payment
thereof, the defendant may be sentenced to imprisonment for a term
not exceeding 90 days. Each day or portion thereof that such violation
continues or is permitted to continue shall constitute a separate
offense, and each section of this chapter that is violated shall also
constitute a separate offense.
