The RL, or Low-Density Residential District, occurs in those
areas of the township designated in the Master Plan for the Non-Pinelands
Area as low-density residential areas not to exceed a gross density
of one (1) unit per acre, or in those locations where the lot sizes
of existing residential uses are greater than one (1) acre or in those
locations where future residential development at a low-density would
be appropriate.

A. Residential dwelling units proposed for development within the RL District shall be subject to the Area, Yard and Bulk Requirements summarized on
Schedule 2, found as an attachment to this chapter.
B. Nonresidential uses proposed for development within the RL District shall be subject to the Area, Yard and Bulk Requirements for Nonresidential Uses, summarized on
Schedule 3, found as an attachment to this chapter.
C. Side-
and rear-yard setbacks shall be fifteen (15) feet for any residential
accessory structure exceeding 400 square feet in total area.

All development proposed within the RL District shall conform with all applicable standards under Article
XVI of this chapter.
