[1974 Code § 2-1]
As used in this chapter:
ADMINISTRATOR
Shall mean the Business Administrator duly appointed pursuant
to the Charter and these Revised General Ordinances or other ordinances
of the Township, or any assistant or acting administrator serving
in place of the Business Administrator pursuant to the Charter or
ordinance.
CHARTER
Shall mean the provisions of the Optional Municipal Charter
Law, P.L. 1950, c. 210, as amended and supplemented (N.J.S.A. 40:69A-1
et seq.) applicable to the form of government provided therein known
as "Mayor-Council Plan F," and any and all statutory provisions of
the State of New Jersey as may be lawfully applicable to the Township.
CLERK
Shall mean the Township Clerk duly appointed pursuant to
the Charter and these Revised General Ordinances or other ordinances
of the Township.
DEPARTMENT
Shall mean an organization unit of the municipal government
established or designated by or pursuant to these Revised General
Ordinances or other subsequent ordinances of the Township.
DIRECTOR
Shall mean the administrative head of a Department.
ORDINANCE
Shall mean any ordinance adopted by the Township and in force
and effect, pursuant to law.
