The Southern Pacific Transportation Company is granted a revocable
permit to maintain and operate an existing railroad across "C" Street
in the city, the centerline of such track being described as follows:
Commencing at the point of intersection of the northerly line
of land (264.0 feet wide) of the Southern Pacific Transportation Company,
and the westerly line of "C" Street as such street is located in the
city; thence southwesterly along such westerly line of "C" Street
a distance of 119.0 feet to the point of beginning such point of beginning
also being 13.0 feet northeasterly measured at right angles from the
centerline of the Transportation Company's main railroad track; thence
southeasterly measured at right angles from the main track a distance
of 80.0 feet to the easterly line of "C" Street.

The term of the permit herein granted shall be for ten years,
commencing May 21, 1973, and expiring May 20, 1983. Such permit shall
be revocable by the city during the term hereof if Southern Pacific
Transportation Company fails to maintain the crossing in a suitable
manner for vehicular traffic on "C" Street or fails to provide proper
weed control of the right-of-way hereinabove described.
