Five members shall be residents of the City, two members may be nonresidents
of the City. Five members shall be at least sixty years of age.
[Ord. No. 924.]
Members of the senior citizens commission shall be appointed
by the mayor with the City Council's consent for overlapping four
year terms.
[Ord. No. 924; Ord. No. 1033, § 7.]
(a) Vacancies. Vacancies on the commission occur through the resignation
of a member, the expiration of the term of a member, death of a member
or removal of a member with or without cause. All members of the senior
citizens commission shall serve at and during the pleasure of the
City Council.

duty of the secretary to keep minutes of each meeting and record the
actions taken. When a roll call vote is taken the chairman shall vote
last. Minutes and recommendations shall be expeditiously forwarded
to the city council for review. The secretary shall submit to the
parks and recreation department at least a week prior to the next
regular meeting a draft agenda for that meeting.
[Ord. No. 924; Ord. No. 942, § 1.]

questions, or other matters pertaining to senior citizens that are
initiated by the city council or commission itself.
