Council shall adopt, maintain in effect, and enforce a Personnel
Code providing for the employment, supervision, discipline, discharge
(temporary or permanent), resignation, leave of absence, vacation,
sick leave, and other pertinent matters, subject to the applicable
provisions of law.
Town employees shall be employed, promoted and compensated on
the basis of their respective abilities, knowledge, skills, demonstrated
performance, and potential for greater responsibility.
No Town employee shall hold any public office in the Town or
any political party office in the Town.
No employee or elected or appointed official shall solicit assessments,
contributions, or services for any political party or candidate from
any Town employee.
