There shall be in and for the Borough a Zoning Hearing Board pursuant to the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code, Act of July 31, 1968, P.L. 247, as amended, 53 P.S. § 10101 et seq.; and as previously created by Borough ordinance.
The Zoning Hearing Board shall consist of three or five residents of the Borough appointed by the Council for a three- or five-year term in accordance with the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code, Act of July 31, 1968, P.L. 247, as amended, 53 P.S. § 10101 et seq.
The Zoning Hearing Board shall have, possess and exercise the powers and shall perform the duties only as provided in the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code, Act of July 31, 1968, P.L. 247, as amended, 53 P.S. § 10101 et seq., and other law.
The Zoning Hearing Board may, within the limit of funds appropriated by the Council, employ or contract for secretaries, clerks, legal counsel other than the Borough Solicitor, consultants and other technical and clerical services.
