As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
INDOOR UPHOLSTERED FURNITURE
Any furniture that contains filling or stuffing material and is used or intended to be used for sitting, reclining or resting indoors, including, but not limited to, sofas, chairs and mattresses.
UNENCLOSED
Any front, back or side porch, deck or balcony that is not completely closed in to shield and protect it year-round from weather.
The use, keeping or storage of any indoor upholstered furniture manufactured primarily for indoor use is hereby prohibited in or on any front, back or side yard or patio.
The use, keeping or storage of any upholstered furniture manufactured primarily for indoor use is hereby prohibited on any front, back or side unenclosed porch, deck or balcony.
Any person, organization, corporation or partnership who violates any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $600, plus court costs. Each day that a violation of this article continues shall constitute a separate offense.
This article will become effective immediately.
