An approved footings and foundation inspection, under slab plumbing
inspection, four (4) trade (plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and
carpentry) inspection, electric service inspection, and final inspection
are required for all building permits issued. Inspections shall be
conducted in accordance with the building regulations, development
codes, or other ordinances or regulations adopted by the City. Building
permit holders shall request an inspection only after all items to
be inspected are complete. All inspection requests shall be made twenty-four
(24) hours prior to the scheduled inspection.
[Bill No. 165, 8-26-2008]
If the work inspected does not comply with the building regulations,
development codes, or other ordinances or regulations adopted by the
City, the permit holder shall be required to correct the work and
schedule a reinspection when all deficiencies have been corrected.
[Bill No. 165, 8-26-2008]
In the event that any inspection and the subsequent reinspection
are failed, the permit holder shall pay the reinspection fee prior
to the next reinspection. Any further reinspections will be performed
at the discretion of the Building Inspector within ten (10) days of
the request and will require the payment of the reinspection fee prior
to the reinspection.
