General. Whenever the public necessity, convenience, general welfare
or good zoning practice require, the Borough Council, by ordinance,
may, after receipt of recommendation thereon from the Borough Planning
Commission and County Planning Commission, and subject to the procedures
provided by law, amend, supplement or change the regulations, district
boundaries or classifications of property, now or hereafter established
by this chapter or amendments thereof. Amendments, supplements, changes
or appeals to this chapter may be initiated by the Borough Planning
Commission, Borough Council or a landowner through the curative amendment
procedure.
