The Mayor and Borough Council of the Borough of Woodbury Heights
is hereby authorized to appoint a nonresident to the position of Municipal
Treasurer for the Borough of Woodbury Heights.
It is hereby found, determined and declared as follows:
A.
N.J.S.A. 40A:9-140.1 allows for the appointment of a Municipal Treasurer
by the Mayor and Borough Council.
D.
After a review of the available personnel to fill this position and
in light of the statutory requirements necessary to act in the capacity
of Municipal Treasurer, this Article is necessary to enable the appointment
to be made of a nonresident of the Borough of Woodbury Heights to
the office of Municipal Treasurer.
