[HISTORY: Adopted by the Township Council of the Township of Pequannock 7-22-1997 as Ch. 143 of the 1997 Code. Amendments noted where applicable.]
No person shall open, operate or maintain any riding academy or livery stable within the Township without first obtaining a license therefor from the Township.
Application for a license under this chapter shall be made in writing to the Township Clerk and shall state the name of the applicant, the owner of the premises and the number of horses that will be kept on the premises.
The granting of a license under this chapter shall be at the discretion of the Township Council. Each such license shall be signed by the Township Clerk.
The fee for a license issued pursuant to this chapter shall be as provided in Chapter 152, Fees.
Each license issued under this chapter shall begin on the first day of January or on the date of issuance and end on the 31st day of December following.
