No person shall break, damage, destroy, uncover, deface or tamper with any structure, appurtenance or equipment which is part of a private or public sewer system.
The Township Engineer, Health Officer and other duly authorized officers and employees of the Township, bearing proper credentials and identification, shall be permitted to enter upon all properties for the purpose of inspection, observation, measurements, sampling and testing.
A. 
Any person who violates any provision of this chapter except § 279-52 shall be served by the Township with written notice stating the nature of the violation and providing a reasonable time limit for the satisfactory correction thereof. The offender shall, within the period of time stated in such notice, permanently cease all violations.
B. 
Any person who continues any violation beyond the time limit provided for in said notice described in Subsection A of this section or any person who violates the provisions of § 279-52 shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine not exceeding $1,000 or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days, or both. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation continues.
Any person who violates any provision of this chapter shall be liable to the Township for any expense, loss or damage incurred by the Township by reason of such violation.
