[Ord. No. 4-2020, 10/13/2020]
The provisions of this chapter shall be severable, and if any of its provisions shall be held to be unconstitutional, illegal or otherwise invalid, that decision shall not affect the validity of any of the remaining provisions of this chapter. It is declared as a legislative intent that this chapter would have been enacted had that unconstitutional, illegal or otherwise invalid provision not be included in the chapter.

The provisions of this chapter, so far as they are the same as those ordinances and regulations in force immediately before the enactment of this chapter, are intended as a continuation of those earlier ordinances and regulations and not new enactments. Nothing in this chapter shall affect any act done or liability incurred or any suit or prosecution pending or to be instituted under any of those repealed or suspended ordinances or regulations.
[Ord. No. 4-2020, 10/13/2020]
Summary proceedings under this chapter, or any section thereof, shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code[1] and Rules of Criminal Procedure.
