It shall be unlawful for a dog to chase, jump upon or at or otherwise harass any person in such a manner as to reasonably cause intimidation or fear by such person or to put such person in reasonable apprehension of bodily harm or injury. A person owning or possessing a dog committing an act prohibited herein, with or without the knowledge, consent, or fault of such person, shall be guilty of a violation of this section.
A. 
Any person who witnesses an attack or threatened attack, or in the case of a minor, an adult acting on behalf of such minor, may make a complaint of an attack or threatened attack upon a person, companion or farm animal as defined in § 350 of the New York State Agricultural and Markets Law, or a domestic animal as defined in Subdivision 7 of § 108 of the New York State Agricultural and Markets Law, to a dog control officer or police officer. Such officer shall immediately inform the complainant of his or her right to commence a proceeding as provided in Subdivision 2 of § 123 of the New York State Agricultural and Markets Law. Any proceeding commenced pursuant to Subdivision 2 of § 123 of the New York State Agricultural and Markets Law shall be heard in the Nassau County District Court.
B. 
A dog shall be deemed a dangerous dog if, following a dangerous dog hearing pursuant to § 123 of the New York State Agricultural and Markets Law, a municipal judge or justice determines that such dog is dangerous.
All dangerous dogs shall be registered with the Village Clerk within three days of entering the Village on a form provided by the Village Clerk. Registration of a dangerous dog shall include:

Name of the dangerous dog;
B. 
Breed of the dangerous dog;
C. 
Physical description of the dangerous dog;
D. 
Address where the dangerous dog will be kept while in the Village;
E. 
Name, addresses, phone number, and e-mail address of the owner of the dangerous dog; and
F. 
A copy of the order from the municipal judge or justice that adjudicated the dog a dangerous dog, along with a copy of any conditions imposed by the order.
A. 
Each and every violation of § 64-4 of the Village Code shall be punishable by a fine not less than $150 and no more than $500.
B. 
Each and every violation of § 64-6 of the Village Code shall be punishable by a fine not less than $150 and no more than $1,000.
