The provisions of this chapter shall be severable, and if any
of its provisions shall be held to be unconstitutional, illegal or
invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of any of the
remaining provisions of this chapter. It is hereby declared as a legislative
intent that this chapter would have been adopted had such unconstitutional,
illegal or invalid provisions not been included therein.
The provisions of this chapter, so far as they are in the same
character as those of ordinances and regulations in force immediately
prior to the enactment of this chapter, are intended as a continuation
of such ordinances and regulations. All relevant ordinances, regulations,
and policies of the Borough of Summit Hill not amended or repealed
shall remain in full force and effect.
This chapter shall become effective concurrently herewith.
Any ordinance or part of an ordinance conflicting with the provisions
of this chapter shall be and the same in hereby repealed to the extent
of such conflict.
The following ordinances are hereby repealed: Ordinance No.
9 of 1968; Ordinance No. 1 of 1990; Ordinance No. 1 of 1993; Ordinance
No. 5 of 1997; Ordinance No. 1 of 1998; Ordinance No. 5 of 2003; Ordinance
No. 4 of 2007; Ordinance No. 5 of 2007; Ordinance No. 1 of 2014; Ordinance
No. 3 of 2014; Ordinance No. 4 of 2014; and Ordinance No. 2 of 2015.
