Whenever the regulations of this Part 1 require a greater width
or size of yards, or require a greater percentage of lot to be left
unoccupied or impose other more restrictive standards than are required
in or under any other statutes, the requirements of this Part 1 shall
govern. Whenever the provisions of any other statute require more
restrictive standards than are required by this Part 1, the provisions
of such statute shall govern.
Any person who violates any provision of this Part 1 shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined not to
exceed $500 or imprisoned for not to exceed 30 days, or both. In the
case of continuing violations, each day of violation shall constitute
a separate offense.
Should any section or provision of this Part 1 be declared invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such declaration shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole, or any part thereof which is not specifically declared to be invalid or unconstitutional.
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are repealed to the extent necessary to give this Part 1 full force
and effect.
This Part 1 shall take effect after the date of its adoption
by the City Council of the City of Walhalla.
