A. 
A longevity payment shall be paid as hereinafter fixed and determined. Such longevity pay is to be considered as additional compensation based upon the length of service of each Township employee according to the following schedule:

B. 
Longevity pay shall not be provided to anyone hired after April 1, 1990.
Benefits provided to employees by collective bargaining agreement (Council No. 8) shall not be modified by ordinance. Rather, said benefits shall be negotiated and incorporated into said agreement and shall only be incorporated herein by reference to said contract.
All benefits, rules and regulations promulgated by the Civil Service Commission or State Legislature which affect municipal employees are herein incorporated by reference to applicable provisions in the New Jersey Administrative Code and Revised Statutes of New Jersey.
