A certain document, copies of which are on file in the office of the Code Enforcement Officers of the Borough of Conshohocken, being marked and designated as the International Property Maintenance Code, 2018 Edition, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Property Maintenance Code of the Borough of Conshohocken in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for regulating and governing the conditions and maintenance of all property, buildings and structures; by providing the standards for supplied utilities and facilities and other physical things and conditions essential to ensure that structures are safe, sanitary and fit for occupation and use; and the condemnation of buildings and structures unfit for human occupancy and use, and the demolition of such existing structures as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Property Maintenance Code on file in the office of the Code Enforcement Officers are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this Part, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in § 5-202 of this Part.

The following sections of the International Property Maintenance Code, 2018 Edition, are hereby revised:
1. 
Section 101.1. Insert: "Borough of Conshohocken."
2. 
Section 103.5. Insert: "As determined by Borough Council by resolution from time to time" (fees).
3. 
Section 302.4. Insert: "six inches" (weeds).
4. 
Section 304.14. Insert: "April 15" and "October 15" (insect screens).
5. 
Section 602.3. Insert: "October 15" and "April 15" (heat supply).
6. 
Section 602.4. Insert: "October 15" and "April 15" (occupiable workspaces).

If found guilty of a violation, the owner and/or occupant shall be sentenced to a fine not less than $100 nor more than $1,000, plus costs of prosecution. Each day the violation continues to exist shall constitute a separate offense. In default of payment of said fine and costs, the violator may be imprisoned in the county jail for a term of not more than 30 days.
