Pursuant to Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated article 1015o,
there is hereby created a municipal board on sign control to consist
of five (5) members.

The membership of the board shall be composed of the following
persons:
(1) Two
(2) persons who must be real estate appraisers registered with the
Society of Real Estate Appraisers or the American Institute of Real
Estate Appraisers;
(2) One
person who must be engaged in the sign business in the City of Lubbock;
(3) One
person who must be an employee of the state department of transportation
and must be familiar with real estate valuations in eminent domain
proceedings; and
(4) One
person who must be an architect or a landscape architect licensed
by the State of Texas.

The members of the municipal board on sign control shall be
appointed by the mayor as the presiding officer of the governing body
of the City of Lubbock.

The codes administrator of the City of Lubbock shall be an ex-officio
member of the board without the power to vote and in such capacity
shall act as secretary to the board and shall set up and maintain
the minutes and record of all board activities, actions, notices,
attendance, orders and proceedings.

Members of the board shall be appointed for a term of two (2)
years.

The municipal board on sign control shall have all powers and
perform all duties vested in the board by or under said Texas Revised
Civil Statutes Annotated, article 1015o.
