As provided in § 5.15, Wis. Stats., the Town shall be divided into six wards, the boundaries of which are designated on the Town Ward Map, which is hereby adopted by reference and shall be on file in the Town Clerk's office.
All primary, general, special and other elections in and for each of the wards of the Town shall be held in the Town Hall.
The polls for all elections in the Town, unless otherwise provided by law, shall be opened at 7:00 a.m. and closed at 8:00 p.m. each election day.
A. 
Registration required. Pursuant to § 6.27, Wis. Stats., no elector of the Town shall be permitted to vote unless he or she has registered in the manner provided by the statutes and laws of the State of Wisconsin.
B. 
Registry. The Town Clerk shall have control of elector registration within the Town and shall prepare and revise the registry, and is required to proceed with the registration of voters, all in the manner provided by the statutes and laws of the state.
Pursuant to § 7.32, Wis. Stats., the Town Clerk is hereby authorized to reduce the number of election officials for any given election to not less than three and redistribute the duties of such remaining election officials.
A. 
Poll workers working in shifts. Wisconsin State Statute § 7.30(1)(a) authorizes that a municipal governing body may provide by ordinance for the selection of alternate officials or the selection of two or more sets of officials to work at different times on election day, and may permit the municipal clerk or board of election commissioners to establish different working hours for different officials assigned to the same polling place. Alternate officials shall also be appointed in a number sufficient to maintain adequate staffing of polling places. Except for inspectors who are appointed under Subsection B and officials who are appointed without regard to party affiliation under § 7.30(4)(c), Wis. Stats., additional officials shall be appointed in such a manner that the total number of officials is an odd number, and the predominant party under § 7.30(2), Wis. Stats., is represented by one more official than the other party.

B. 
Polling place greeters and substitute workers. Wisconsin State Statute § 7.30(1)(b) authorizes that each municipality may appoint one additional inspector to serve at each polling place without regard to party affiliation, who shall serve as a greeter to answer questions and to direct electors to the proper locations for registration and voting and who shall be available to substitute for other election officials who must leave the room during the voting process.

As provided in § 8.05(3), Wis. Stats., the nomination of elective Town officers shall be by nonpartisan primary election conducted in accordance with state law.

A. 
The Municipal Board of Absentee Canvassers shall be composed of the Municipal Clerk, or a qualified elector of the municipality designated by the Clerk, and two other qualified electors of the municipality appointed by the Clerk for a term of two years commencing on January 1 of each odd-numbered year. The municipality may appoint additional inspectors under § 7.30(2)(a), Wis. Stats., to assist the absentee ballot board of canvassers in canvassing absentee ballots under this section.
B. 
The Town of West Bend declares in lieu of canvassing absentee ballots at the polling place under § 6.88, Wis. Stats., the municipal board of absentee ballot canvassers may canvass all absentee ballots in the municipality at the November Presidential election and any election where a large voter turnout is expected.
C. 
The Municipal Clerk shall give at least 48 hours' notice of any meeting under this subsection.
D. 
The Municipal Clerk, no later than the closing hour of the polls, shall post, at his or her office and on the internet at a site announced by the Clerk before the polls open, and shall make available to any person upon request, a statement of the number of absentee ballots that the Clerk has mailed or transmitted to electors and that have been returned by the closing hour on election day.
