Provisions, Art. I)]
The administrative functions, powers and duties of the Township
government, except such as are by charter or general law reserved
to the Township Committee or the local Board of Health, shall be allocated
as follows:
A. Among and within the following departments:
(1) Office of the Township Administrator.
(2) Office of the Township Clerk.
(5) Department of Public Works.
(6) Department of Construction, UCC and Inspections.
(7) Department of Community Development.
(8) Office of the Tax Collector.
(9) Office of the Tax Assessor.
B. Among and within the following boards,
commissions, officers, agencies and instrumentalities which are not
allocated or assigned to a department or office:
(7) Such commissions, advisory boards and individual
appointments as the Township Committee may from time to time establish.
The Committee shall exercise oversight and general supervision
of the administrative functions allocated as provided herein by designating
a Committee member to serve as liaison to each department and to such
additional units of the Township administrative organization as the
Committee shall determine. Such liaison shall continue whether or
not a department director has been appointed.
