[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Board of the Town of Seymour 3-13-2014 by Ord. No. 031314A. Amendments noted where applicable.]
Pursuant to §§ 755.01(4) and 66.0301, Wis. Stats., the Town Board hereby authorizes the Town to enter into an agreement for the joint exercise of power granted under § 755.01, Wis. Stats., for the creation of the City of Seymour/Town of Seymour Joint Municipal Court. The form of said agreement is attached hereto, as Exhibit 2.[1] A copy of said agreement, when executed, shall be on file with the Town of Seymour Clerk.

The member municipalities as of the date of adoption of this chapter are the City of Seymour and the Town of Seymour; however, additional municipalities may be added in the future.
The Joint Municipal Court shall have concurrent jurisdiction over violation(s) of Town ordinances and such other jurisdiction as provided by Ch. 755, Wis. Stats. The adoption of this chapter shall not limit whatever jurisdiction may be granted by statute to the Circuit Court for Outagamie County.
The Town of Seymour hereby adopts Sections 26-1(b), (c), (d), (f) and (g) and 26-2 of the City of Seymour's Municipal Code as may be subsequently amended. Attached hereto, as Exhibit 3, is Chapter 26 of the City of Seymour Municipal Code (for reference to the appropriate sections).[1]
