(a) It
is unlawful for any person, firm, association, corporation or funeral
home to bury any person or persons in the city cemetery without first
obtaining a permit for such burial. Such permit shall be obtained
from the city secretary, or from some person designated by such city
secretary, and on forms supplied by the city, provided that all such
permits be obtained before the excavation of any grave.
(b) Upon violation of subsection
(a), the fine shall be in accordance with the general penalty provision set forth in section
1.01.009 of this code.

(a) It
shall be unlawful for any person, owner or caretaker of any cemetery
lot located in the city cemetery to apply to the soil in said cemetery
lot any chemical or other substance for the purpose of sterilizing
the soil in said lot.
(b) Use of soil sterilizers, as set out in subsection
(a) above, shall be punishable by a fine in accordance with the general penalty provision set forth in section
1.01.009 of this code.
