Ward boundaries for Wards 1 through 7 of Radnor Township are
as set forth on Exhibit A, Map Proposal: Option B Version 2, a copy of which map is attached hereto and incorporated
herein.
The realigned proposed population for each of the seven wards
contains an overall deviation of less than 5.00% from the mean ward
population and consists of the following:
The boundary descriptions for each ward in plain English are
set forth on Exhibit B, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein.
The technical legal description for ward boundaries is as set
forth on Exhibit C, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein.
Pursuant to the Municipal Reapportionment Act, all Commissioners of the Township presently serving in office shall retain their offices until the end of their terms. In the primary and general elections of 2023, it is the intent of the Board of Commissioners that consistent with the current odd/even election system existing in the Township pursuant to §
2.03 of the Radnor Township Home Rule Charter that all Commissioners representing odd-numbered wards shall be elected at the municipal election held in 2023 and shall be elected thereafter at four-year intervals. Additionally, all Commissioners representing even-number wards shall be reelected at the municipal election held in 2025 and shall be elected thereafter for four-year intervals.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances which are inconsistent
herewith are hereby repealed.
If any section, paragraph, subsection, clause or provision of
this chapter shall be declared invalid or unconstitutional by a court
of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity
of this chapter as a whole or any part thereof other than that portion
specifically declared invalid.
This chapter shall become effective in accordance with the Home
Rule Charter of Radnor Township.
